Hello. My name is Darren Cooper and I’m here with my wife, Steph Cooper. We first contacted Lisa about four or five years ago, in preparation for our retirement plans.

When we first contacted Lisa, we both had work pensions and other investments going on. We wanted them to work the best for us and we felt that we needed some professional advice on that.

And she was just so patient while we made those decisions – because it is a very big decision, putting a date on when you’re going to stop work.

One of the best pieces of advice that Lisa gave us was right at the beginning when we talked to her about retiring. She really encouraged us to think about what retirement meant. That wasn’t just about how much money we’ll have, but it will be what we’re going to do. When we wake up in the morning and there’s no work to go to, what are we going to do with our time? And that really did resonate with both of us, so we started looking into hobbies and things that we could do when we had the time to do it, rather than just do Sudoku all day.
