Hi, I’m Carolyn Hobday, and this is my husband, Tim. We’re clients of Footes Financial Planning and we’ve been with Lisa now for nearly 11 years.

I had a bad experience with a financial adviser where the investments didn’t do well at all, and I ended up losing a lot of money over it. I was looking around for a new adviser, and my wife and her company were using Lisa at the time, so I went with Footes and I haven’t looked back since. It’s been brilliant.

She’s been able to help me in different ways, including, when my mother died, sadly, on how to deal with the financial aspects of the inheritance. She has helped my daughter with some advice as well. The joining of all my pensions was amazing because it meant everything was in one place and I was getting regular advice on one thing. Also, there was a time when I needed some capital, and she helped me draw down money from my pension at the tax-free rate, which was just amazing. I couldn’t have asked for more.
